Aquaplaning
Aquaplaning is the buoying upwards of vehicle tyres and by that the conditional maneuver incapability of the vehicle. The contact surface area of the tyres on rain-wet road is smaller, hence the buoying upwards. To reduce this effect, the tyre industries develop special tyre profile that draw the water sideways. This effect reduces proportional to the velocity. The profile depth should be controlled regularly. Less profile implies more Aquaplaning risk.
