For few years, optical profile depth measurement for simple applications has matured practically.Until now, the so called light-section method but not coupled with appropriate sensors and computers has been used to provide a reliable evaluation possibility beyond stationary applications.
The innovative feature of the ProContour H3-D system lies in the first-time usage of new highspeed 3D-Laser Imageprocessing and Measurement technique (H3-D) to measure and detect tyre profiles during traffic flow.
The core technology, the “on-chip processing” is patented world wide. We were able to win as a strategic partner, the company Chronos Vision GmbH. The Chronos Vision develops and sell highly secured and at the moment fastest 3D-Image processing system world wide.
